Kevin Suckman served in the Air Force for eight years as a C-17 pilot on the front lines of the Global War on Terror before being medically retired. During his short career, he accumulated over 2,500 flying hours in the C-17 including over 500 combat hours and 150 combat missions. He was instrumental in providing airlift support for several high profiled missions from supporting special operations forces to transporting the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs as well as piloting the first C-17 into Balad Air Base, Iraq.
AFVET Solutions was founded in 2007 after Kevin was medically retirement from the Air Force. Since then, he has maintained close relationships with the C-17 community, his former squadron, and fellow pilots. He wants to use his operational experiences to continue supporting the efforts of the warfighter in a new capacity. As a former pilot, he feels he brings a fresh and unique perspective to the defense contracting arena. He believes through his background and close association with his comrades in arms, he knows what issues are important to them and will always strive to provide “real world solutions to the warfighter.”
